Job Description
Visit our website: www.spinatomycenters.com $100K+/year OTE compensation Read the whole thing before you apply, seriously. Most job postings are written to attract as many people as possible, and this one isn't, because we're not trying to fill a seat, we're trying to find one specific person. We want someone who treats the clinic like it's actually theirs, who notices things before anyone has to point them out, who knows their numbers cold without leadership asking, and who genuinely cares about the patient sitting in front of them and not just the ones left on the schedule. If that doesn't sound like you, save us both some time and stop here. If it does, keep reading, because we've been looking for you for a while. This is important work We're not hiring someone to clock in and clock out, because our patients come to us after months, sometimes years, of pain, failed treatments, and feeling like nobody actually listened to them, and what we do genuinely changes their lives. We take that seriously, and we need whoever takes this role to take it just as seriously. We want a killer who's entrepreneur minded and driven and hungry to win, and in the same breath, someone loving and empathetic enough that patients feel it the moment they sit down across from them. That combination is rare, since most people land on one half of it or the other, and we're not willing to settle for half. We're going to find someone who's both. What you'll actually do Run consultations that don't feel like an intake form. Most of our patients haven't just been in pain, they've been dismissed, so your job is to actually listen: what can't they do anymore, how is it hitting their work or their family or their sleep, and what are they really trying to get back to. Our providers own the diagnosis and the treatment plan, and your role is making sure the patient feels heard and supported the entire way through, and once the plan is set, walking them through cost, financing, and what happens next. We believe you can sell with integrity, which means no hard closes, no scripts, and no tricks, just good questions, honest conversation, and enough confidence to ask someone to make a decision. Know your numbers every single day. Consults, show rate, conversion, collections, and your follow-up pipeline should all be things you already know without leadership asking, because you should never need someone else to tell you whether your clinic had a good month. Follow up like you mean it. That doesn't mean "just checking in," it means actually remembering why the patient came in the first place, what mattered to them, and what's still standing in their way. Run the clinic, not just your calendar. That means staying on top of schedule flow, new patient confirmations, staffing gaps, how the clinic looks and feels, and how the team communicates with each other, and while you don't have to do everything yourself, you do have to notice when something's off and either fix it or get the right person on it. Run the day-to-day operations of the clinic. You'll be responsible for keeping the clinic running smoothly every day, including supervising and directing the staff, coordinating workflow, addressing staffing and scheduling issues, and making sure the team is doing what needs to get done. You'll set expectations, provide coaching and feedback, address performance or attendance concerns when they come up, and hold the team accountable. You'll also work closely with leadership on hiring, training, performance evaluations, and recommendations regarding discipline or other personnel decisions.
The goal is simple:
own the operation of the clinic, lead the team, solve problems before they become bigger problems, and make sure both our patients and our staff have the support they need Working with our providers Diagnosis and treatment planning aren't your call, since that's clinical and it's not your lane, but everything around it is, including communication, patient experience, the money conversation, follow-up, and making sure the patient never feels like they're bouncing between two disconnected departments. If something's off in a handoff, or a patient isn't getting what they need, you say something, because staying in your lane doesn't mean staying quiet. You'll be coached, a lot Having "Director" in your title doesn't mean you've graduated from being coached, and you'll work directly with our Head of Growth on consultation review, role-play, objection handling, and patient psychology on an ongoing basis. We're not going to hand you a script and check back in six months, but that only works if you actually want the feedback instead of just tolerating it. Who we're looking for- Someone exceptional with people, not just someone who says they are
- Someone curious enough to ask another question instead of assuming they already know the answer
- Someone competitive who actually cares whether the number goes up
- Someone comfortable talking about money and asking someone to make a decision
- Someone accountable, whose first instinct when something goes wrong isn't to find who to blame
- Someone organized enough to keep a lot of moving pieces moving at once
- Someone coachable, low ego, and genuinely hungry to get better This probably isn't for you if...
- You want the title more than you want the responsibility that comes with it
- You'd rather manage from behind a desk than work directly with patients
- You hate sales or you hate talking about money
- You get defensive the second someone tries to coach you
- "That's not my job" is a phrase you reach for often What great looks like here You know your patients, your schedule, your numbers, and the goal without anyone having to ask you, and you communicate with your providers and your team before something becomes a problem instead of after.
