Duties Help You will provide technical guidance and identify training needs. You will assign emergency management work to team members in accordance with individual strengths and competencies. You will collabore with other organizions (e.g., federal, ste, local jurisdiction) to coordine current and future safety, fire, and emergency services. You will determine gaps in applicion of emergency management communicions resources based on stistical da of historical incidents and loss. You will develop, review, and modify as necessary all emergency management policies, procedures and plans to ensure they are current and relevant to all hazards, thres and capabilities. Specialized experience must demonstre the following: 1) Analyzing the effectiveness of training, exercises, and real world incident response operions to determine if corrective action or policy change is required; 2) Conducting emergency management assessments to identify discrepancies and develop corrective actions; 3) Advising management and staff on emergency management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulions; 4) Overseeing Emergency Operion Center (EOC) operions to ensure effectiveness and execution of EOC processes and procedures in accordance with policy; and 5) Analyzing and/or evaluing methods and techniques used in emergency response to present recommendions and conclusions for improvement in response capabilities.
