It is a General Law City with a Council/Manager form of government. Simi Valley encompasses an area of 41.7 square miles and is located in the southeast portion of Ventura County. The current estimated population is 126,414, yet Simi Valley maintains a unique balance of open space and City amenities. Outdoor Recreation Over a dozen beautiful parks, camping and picnic spots, tennis courts, two golf courses, and one of the largest equestrian trail systems in the United States. POSITION DETAILS
Salary range: $87,807.00 - $112,590.00 with Excellent Benefits 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 6/29/26 Generally, salary placement is at the beginning of the salary range. Advanced placement may be granted depending on related education and experience. Regular, Full-Time position Work schedule: 9/80 with alternating Monday or Friday off
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education/Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by two years of college-level coursework in information science or a related field.
Experience:
One year of information system experience.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver's license. Possession of information services industry-recognized certifications are desirable.
