• Student Assistants Position Summary Temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study student assistant position available in Anthropology, Geography and Environmental Resources.

Start Date Position available on or after September 14, 2027 and ending on or before May 21, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. Job Description/Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Greeting visitors, filing, and scanning, archiving records, photocopying, creating and maintaining office files, emailing, transcribing, providing classroom support, and other related duties. Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machine, etc.). Updating websites and social media. Maintain office and event supplies. Assist with event planning. Maintain program office. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately/ make on campus deliveries. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to utilize office equipment (copy machines, fax, scanner, etc.) and follow verbal instructions. Detail-oriented ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Motivated, dependable, and able to follow through on assignments. Ability to work independently, take leadership, and meet deadlines. Excellent customer service and office etiquette skills.

Required Qualifications :

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
