Job Description

Looking for a Cabinet Installer in Green Bay! Are you looking to utilize and grow your craftmanship at a custom cabinet company that takes pride in its exceptional quality? Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Installation Execution:
Review installation plans, blueprints, and layouts to understand the scope of the installation project. Measure and assess installation areas to ensure accurate placement and fit of cabinets within the available space. Install cabinets, fixtures, and related components with precision, using appropriate tools and techniques to achieve a seamless and functional result. Secure cabinets to walls and floors, ensuring stability and safety. Proven experience as a cabinet installer or in a related carpentry or construction role. Strong knowledge of cabinet installation techniques, tools, and materials. 2.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, providing updated on the installation process and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Maintain a neat and organized work area, minimizing disruption to the client's environment during the installation process. 3. Quality Control Conduct thorough inspections of installed cabinets to verify alignment, levelness, and overall quality. Ensure that all cabinet components, doors, drawers, and hardware operate smoothly and efficiently. Make any necessary adjustments or corrections to achieve a flawless final installation. Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations. 4.
Problem Solving:
Address unforeseen challenges that may arise during the installation process, such as irregular wall structures or other site-specific conditions. Collaborate with the design and production teams to find creative solutions that meet both design intent and practical installation requirements. 5.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while working on installation sites. Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in carpentry and construction. Ensure that cabinets are securely anchored and installed in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. 6.
Communication and Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including designers, pre-installers, and project managers, to ensure a coordinated and efficient installation process. Communicate any issues, delays, or deviations for the installation plan to supervisors and relevant team members. 7.
Client Satisfaction:
Ensure that the installed cabinets meet or exceed the client's expectations in terms of appearance, functionality, and quality. Address any post-installation concerns or adjustments promptly and professionally. Work Environment and Travel This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely is exposed to dust, fumes from wood finishing, and includes frequent operation of woodworking tools and machines. This position will require flexibility to travel to various client locations for installation projects. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary for installations located outside the immediate area. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; climb ladders, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift products and supplies up to 75+ pounds. Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinets and equipment. and performing the bending, twisting, and physical demands required for installation work. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position. This position is 4/10hr days and occasionally requires mandatory Friday work. Scope of Authority This position has no direct reports. Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in carpentry, woodworking, or installation is advantageous. Required Must have a valid state driver's license (Class D or CDL). Clean Driving Record within the last 5 years.
Experience:
3-5 years of driving experience, often with local area knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform basic vehicle inspections. Key Duties and Responsibilities Other duties as assigned.
