Delivery Truck Driver - CDL A

JOB PURPOSE

This is a single position as a Delivery Truck Driver. Delivery and pick-up of customer's and conger equipment. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, responding in a timely, polite, and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes an atmosphere of good will and accountability between the company and the customer. Acts in professional manner and provides a superior level of customer service and satisfaction. Accurately and neatly documents each service repair pick-up or equipment delivery. Observes all safety procedures, makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed. Maintains the company delivery vehicle in a clean, orderly and hazard-free manner. Safely transports equipment to and from customer locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner. Ability to demonstrate the use of rental equipment to customers when needed. Safely prepare equipment for delivery. Cooperatively performs additional duties when assigned by management. Performs quick, thorough inspections before delivering or receiving equipment. Ability to Safely secure equipment Maintain regular and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (CDL A would be required) Air Brake Certification Manual Transmission Certified Must be able to obtain / Hold Tier 1 Fed/Med card The ability to dock and ground load equipment Can safely operate power tools, lifts, and hoists.

Basic understanding of WLL (working load limits) and load securement Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and management. Professional appearance Diligent attention to detail Diligent attention to safety Mechanical Aptitude Has the ability to safely operate various types of material handling equipment Keep pace with industry innovations in order to make sound recommendations to customers.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Environment:

Must have knowledge of potential equipment movement hazards as well as exposure to chemicals and solvents that require knowledge of proper safety procedures. Must be willing or able to work in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

Has the ability to perform strenuous and heavy work, can exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads up to 50 pounds. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and pulling. Has the ability to frequently handle chains, straps, and chain binders with hands when securing equipment for deliveries. The demands of the position often exceed normal working conditions. Company workloads may require work after hours or on weekends.
