Job Description
Nesco Resource is looking for a Cable & Harness Inspector located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (OT possible after training cycle)Pay:
$20-$22 Based onExperience Job Summary:
The Cable & Harness Inspector is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections of cable and harness assemblies to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of cable and harness assemblies Inspect products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards Document and report non-conformances and inspection results Follow work instructions, travelers, and customer documentation Verify workmanship and accuracy throughout the inspection process Support production schedules through timely and accurate inspections Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement activities Identify process issues and recommend improvements Work with production and other departments to resolve quality or delivery issues Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience inspecting cable and harness assemblies or three (3) years assembling cable and harnesses Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods and components Familiarity withIPC-A-620
standards (certification a plus) Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and customer specifications Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment, including magnification aids Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
