CAD Drafter / Designer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CAD Drafter with hands-on experience using SolidWorks to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning concepts into accurate technical drawings and working closely with engineering, fabrication, and production teams.

Responsibilities :

Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering notes Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and documentation Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production staff Assist with design improvements and product development Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and production-ready

Qualifications :

Proficiency in SolidWorks preferred Experience creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings Strong understanding of drafting principles, dimensions, and tolerances Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Familiarity with sheet metal, weldments, or mechanical assemblies preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience :

2+ years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

Compensation & Benefits :

Compensation is based off expierence ranging from $24•45 an hour Shift is Monday•
