CAD Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join Jada Windows! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings and schematics. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process. Duties

• Create and develop detailed drawings for window and door components, assemblies, and installation layouts.
• Interpret architectural and engineering specifications to produce accurate shop drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, and production teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and internal quality guidelines.
• Maintain organized digital libraries of drawings, templates, and design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.
• Assist in preparing documentation for production, including BOMs and fabrication instructions.
• Stay current with CAD software updates and best practices in drafting and design. Qualifications
• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in CAD drafting, preferably in window or building product manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of construction documents, fabrication processes, and material properties.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
