CAD Drafter - SolidWorks Full-Time | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM About Us Merit is a long-standing manufacturing company with over 146 years of history, providing quality, artisan-crafted products to the high-end residential market and the Defense Department. We are looking for an experienced CAD Drafter with strong SolidWorks skills to join our team. Position Summary This position will involve creating 3D models and technical drawings of hardware and components to meet customer requirements and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Responsibilities Manage large SolidWorks assemblies and configurations in an organized and efficient manner Create 3D renderings using PhotoView 360 Prepare customer drawings, manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SolidWorks Work closely with the Engineering team to support customer and manufacturing requirements Maintain accurate and organized design documentation Qualifications Proficiency with SolidWorks software required Experience creating 3D models and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong mathematical aptitude Excellent organization and communication skills Benefits Medical insurance fully paid by Merit for employees (no employee contribution) Dental and vision coverage fully paid by Merit 401(k) with company match Life insurance
