Full-time Responsibilities:

Demonstrate proficiency with MasterCam and/or NX. Experience in using Mastercam and Solid Works is desired. Ability to read engineering prints and design documentation, including the ability to understand GD&T. Develop work-holding fixtures and select cutting tools. Must have ability to adjust speeds, feeds, tooling and operating sequences as needed and analyze G code. Specify perishable tooling and capable fixturing while applying continuous improvements to the manufacturing process. Must have advanced knowledge of metal cutting as well as the ability to select and recommend test tooling. Multi-Axis and Multi-Spindle experience a plus. Integrate work with the Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Scheduling Department to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation. Familiarity with the latest technologies and equipment used in manufacturing processes. Minimum 5-8 years of experience using: NX, Unigraphics and SolidWorks Software, Mastercam Knowledge of Aerospace raw materials. Ability to perform calculus and geometry calculations. Team leading ability Good problem-solving skills. Ability to manage one's time and time of the team. Ability to detect problems.

Work Environment:

While performing duties for this job, it's required to alternate between standing and sitting. Also perform walking, gross manipulation, visual acuity, climbing stairs, ladders, ramps, fine motor manipulation, lifting/carrying, pushing, and pulling. As we are a small company you will be required to perform various roles including but not limited to periodic internal auditing, CMM inspection and operations, cost estimating, vendor correspondence, leg work in acquiring new equipment. Required to always wear safety shoes and safety glasses when on the shop floor. Possible risk of injury from equipment or sharp parts and may be required to use protective equipment such as gowns and safety goggles. Assignment may require working on loud and potentially dangerous machinery/materials. Required to use computer or touch screen to enter work order data. Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 40 lbs.
