• Full-time Job Summary RDF&P is a custom metal fabrication company supporting projects ranging from semiconductor pedestals and raised flooring systems to miscellaneous steel fabrication.

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our production, estimating, and project teams. This position is responsible for creating and revising fabrication drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting projects from quoting through production in a fast-paced environment. Duties Create detailed fabrication drawings, layouts, and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings and project specifications Revise and maintain drawings, ensuring accuracy of dimensions, materials, and fabrication details Coordinate with project managers, QA, and shop personnel on drawing changes and production needs Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and preparation of quotes as needed Support job setup and internal systems for tracking and documentation Maintain organized drawing files and revision history Requirements 2 years drafting experience required (fabrication or structural steel preferred) Proficiency in SolidWorks Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Solid communication skills and ability to work across departments Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills (dimensions, tolerances, etc.) Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week, occasional overtime as needed) Office and shop environment Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs Benefits Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 90 days 401(k) with employer match Additional supplemental benefits available
