Cafe Associate

Join our team at The Lodge at Mammoth Cave as a Café Associate. Located within Mammoth Cave National Park, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience for guests from around the world. This fast-paced, customer-focused role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and friendly café environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and passionate about providing excellent hospitality while contributing to the warm atmosphere that makes our lodge a memorable destination. $14/hour + Tips! Day shift hours, must be able to work weekends

Responsibilities:

Use point of sale system to take orders and process payment Daily cleaning of café area and equipment Scoop ice cream Stock food, supplies, coolers, retail and convenience items Sandwich, salad, pizza and other food item preparation

Position Requirements:

Excellent customer service and people skills Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts Strong communication and interpersonal skills - must be able to read, write and speak English Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people and will involve frequent bending, twisting, squatting and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
