Located in the heart of beautiful Leavenworth, The Lost Pig Cafe is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. We pride ourselves on great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong team mentality. We are currently looking for a hardworking, energetic Support Staff member to help keep our cafe running smoothly!

The Role:

As our Support Staff, you will assist in many of our daily operations. You will float between the front-of-house and the kitchen, ensuring our dining room looks pristine, our kitchen staff has the prep they need, and our customers feel warmly welcomed the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

Warmly greet customers as they enter and help set a positive tone for their visit.

Dining Room Maintenance:

Bus, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to accommodate incoming guests.

Dishwashing:

Keep the dish pit flowing smoothly by washing plates, glasses, and kitchenware as needed.

Light Kitchen Prep:

Assist the kitchen team with basic food prep (chopping, portioning, etc.) to keep service moving.

Stocking & Tidying:

Ensure server stations, condiment bars, and restrooms are fully stocked and clean throughout your shift.

Trash Removal:

Emptying dining room and kitchen trash receptacles as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Certifications:

A valid Washington State Food Worker Card is required . A MAST Permit is highly preferred, but not a dealbreaker if you don't have one yet!

Hustle:

Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Team Player:

You jump in where help is needed without hesitation and communicate well with both front and back-of-house staff.

Positive Attitude:

You bring good energy to your shifts and handle the lunch rush with a smile.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
