Cooks at Wildflour Restaurant (Lake Wenatchee / Kahler Mountain Club) Wildflour Restaurant, located at the Kahler Mountain Club golf course near beautiful Lake Wenatchee, is hiring experienced cooks as we gear up for a busy summer and golf season. Our location offers incredible access to outdoor recreation and a vibrant, community‑focused workplace. About the Role We feature seasonal Northwest‑inspired handcrafted pastas, steaks, and seafood , with a dynamic menu that changes based on fresh, local availability. We're looking for cooks who bring skill, consistency, and pride to their craft. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation. Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency across all dishes. Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and seasonal specials. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas according to health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations. Participate in catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards. Manage knife skills effectively for precise cutting, slicing, and dicing of ingredients. Contribute to a positive kitchen environment through teamwork, communication, and enthusiasm. Experience Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Proven background in food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting. Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques. Hands-on experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Knowledge of culinary techniques including cooking methods and food industry standards. Experience in catering or serving large groups is a plus. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential for success in this role.
