Job Purpose:

Provides guest service by performing a variety of transactions and exchange services to guests

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) Provides guest service by greeting external guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing change, scanning and redeeming slot machine tickets in the denominations requested by the guest, furnishing guests with game and promotional information, instruction and assistance, performing cash, chip, coin, voucher, promotional, coupon, and check cashing and cash advance transactions. Maintains bank supply and integrity by inspecting monies, identifying coins, bills, and chips for counterfeits, contacting Security and Gaming Commission when counterfeits are found, balancing window inventory, preparing drops and buys, and preparing machine ticket redemption, coupons, check cashing/cash advance and balancing reports. Provides administrative support by paying slot jackpots, recording transactions mandated by Title 31 in logbook and computer, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Ability to appear for work on time Ability to perform data-entry into a PC Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests Ability to communicate effectively in the English language Ability to read and write in the English language Ability to maintain professionalism and composure Ability to complete forms and documents Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions Ability to accept constructive criticism Ability to count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment Ability to recognize counterfeit monies and chips Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations Ability to walk and stand for up to eight hours at a time Ability to work in a smoking environment Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel 10-key by touch
