As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, artistic flair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards. Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide recommendations for cake designs. Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring high-quality standards in taste and presentation. Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of decorating area. Package finished cakes for pick up or display while ensuring they are presented beautifully. Assist with inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in cake decorating or pastry arts is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking and cake decoration. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in cake preparation and decoration. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
