Job Description

As the first point of contact for our practice, our friendly call center staff helps ensure that each patient receives superior-quality care. Must have customer service experience, basic computer knowledge, and be able to handle multiple incoming calls to:
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for patients throughout the day
  • Triage all patient phone calls to determine urgency of appointment
  • Obtain patient history, demographics, and insurance information to update the patient's file
  • Obtain insurance authorizations/referrals and check eligibility for appointments Candidates must have excellent telephone etiquette, be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and always maintain patient professionalism.
Although experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. As all operators are representative of the physicians and the practice, at least two years in a medical office setting is preferred.
