In the serene and rustic setting of northern Michigan, you'll inspire the next generation of artists while embracing the beauty and challenges of wilderness living. Embrace the magic and make a lasting impact! Position Overview Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Nurses who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. As a Camp Nurse, you'll play a major role in assisting our Health Services team serve our campers, while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer. What You Get To Do Work in one of three Health Centers with a team consisting of a Physician or Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, other Health Services Assistants, and a secretary. Be delegated tasks by the Camp Nurse, including taking vital signs, dressing changes, transporting students to or from a Health Care Center if needed, changing beds, obtaining meals for any Campers required to stay in Health Services, changing linen of overnight campers, and other duties as required for the population. Be available as needed and during regularly scheduled hours during the camper day and at designated times in the health center. Be an integral part of camp life and participate in camp activities as the schedule allows, and enjoy the lovely setting at Interlochen. What You Get Meals and on-campus lodging.

If you refer someone to this position who works full-time and completes their contract in good standing, you will receive a $500 bonus. 10% tuition discount for the Discovery Camp or 50% Interlochen Arts Camp for dependents. 20% discount for tickets to most summer concerts. 15% discount on merchandise from Scholarshop and food/beverages from Melody Freeze.

What You Need Availability:
Flexible scheduling between 6/15/2026 - 8/10/2026 . While the camp runs for 7 weeks, we are offering partial-summer contracts (1-2 week blocks) or full-season positions. 8-hour shifts available to support 24-hour coverage. Prepared to live in a residence hall room. While we offer accessible housing accommodations, please note that due to the rustic nature of our camp, these options are limited. The ability to use electronic medical records and email is required. Experience in school, camp, or pediatric nursing, and working with children aged 7 - 18 years preferred Good pediatric assessment skills, flexibility, the ability to work well with a team, and the ability to make independent decisions are essential. Current Michigan license as an RN/LPN and CPR certification before the contract start date. School nurses are encouraged to apply. Required Items to Upload on
