reviews Seasonal, Full-time Job Summary The Campgrounds Maintenance is a seasonal position (40+ hours a week) that supports the James River Campground operations by maintaining landscaping, mowing, weed eating, restocking supplies, maintaining swimming pool, up keeping trails, and assisting Camp Manager. This position works now through August and is located in Huggins, Missouri.

https://jamesriver.church/job/campgrounds-maintenance/ Essential Responsibilities & Duties Maintain landscaping by weeding flower beds, trimming bushes, and watering flowers, shrubs, and trees. Mowing Weed eating. Tree trimming. Maintain equipment by regularly cleaning and checking fluids. Maintain trails by using bush hogs and clearing fallen trees. Complete all required checklists. Regularly monitor supplies in all buildings and restock when necessary. Perform daily maintenance of swimming pool. Maintain camp vehicles. Monitor and disposing of trash when necessary. Conducting and assisting with basic building repairs as trained and directed by the Camp Manager. Any other related duties as assigned by the Camp Manager. Requirements Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred Strong self-motivation. Enjoy working outdoors. Have general knowledge of and the ability to use landscaping and ground maintenance tools. Willing to learn basic building repairs. Ability to get along well with others and handle confidential matters. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing. Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality. Perform other related duties as assigned and required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to get along well with others and handle confidential matters. Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, orally, and in writing. Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through the utilization of professional work standards. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, co-workers, and the public. Ability to read and correctly interpret SDS (Safety Data Sheets). Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
