LOCATION NOTE
This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses. You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. When campus operations run without friction, students experience security, staff remain concentrated on their work, and parents develop confidence in the institution. This outcome is deliberate, not incidental. It results from someone coordinating countless operational details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and intentionality. Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced learning, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position exists to guarantee that the non-instructional aspects of campus life meet the same excellence standards as our academic programs. In this capacity, you control the operational rhythm of the campus. Your responsibilities encompass community communication, campus security, facilities management and logistics, and routine technology administration. You might coordinate an emergency drill one hour, troubleshoot a technology problem the next, facilitate new employee onboarding, or manage a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build organizational confidence. This is a practical, on-campus position for someone who excels in fluid environments, maintains composure during challenging situations, and finds satisfaction in upholding rigorous service standards. What you will be doing Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff members, maintaining transparent, prompt, and professional communication standards Overseeing campus security functions, including entry protocols, medical situations, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and family notifications Directing daily campus functions including attendance systems, facility maintenance coordination, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics Facilitating onboarding processes and orientation for incoming staff to guarantee seamless operational integration Administering student technology and campus systems, functioning as the principal on-site technology contact and Google Administrator What you will NOT be doing Delivering classroom instruction or directing academic programs Providing coaching to Guides or participating in curriculum design Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity Performing routine, predictable desk work with minimal variation Delegating issues without taking ownership or driving solutions Key Responsibilities Deliver reliable, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the quality of experience and satisfaction levels for students, staff, and families. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's Degree in any field Minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role Proficiency with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration Effective communication abilities with capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and vendors Capacity to handle multiple priorities while sustaining focus on details Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; South Bay (LA), CA; Bethesda, MD; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Boca Raton, FL; or Santa Monica, CA — or willing to relocate Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship This position is also known as: Campus Coordinator School Operations Coordinator Enrollment Specialist
