CANINE CARE TEAM MEMBER

Full-Time/ Part-Time Opportunities Available The Canine Cooperative is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in assuring wit the daily car and exercise of dogs staying in our training and boarding programs. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position best suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being around dogs of all breeds and sizes. This is not a kennel sitting position- our dog receive structured exercise, enrichment, and care throughout the day.

Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintaining the facility Laundry and dishes Walking and hiking dogs through wooded hilly terrain several hours a day Assisting with daily exercise and enrichment routines Safely handling dogs of arming sizes, breeds, and temperaments Supporting the overall care and cleanliness of the dogs and our facility.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation required Comfortable working around dogs of all breeds and sizes Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work, including walking multiple miles daily Comfortable getting dirty and working i nan active environment Dependable, observant, and willing to learn

Experience:

Professional dog experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person, but applicants should have confidence around dogs, a strong work ethic, and a love of learning and the outdoors.

We specialize in helping dogs and owners through structured training, behavior modification, socialization, and real world fulfillment. Our approach goes beyond obedience alone - we focus on understanding canine behavior, communication, emotional regulation, and the relationship between dogs and their humans. Dogs staying with us receive hands-on care, structured exercise, enrichment, and individualized attention every day. Our team works in an active, outdoor-oriented environment that includes hiking, walking, socialization, and maintaining a clean, safe space for the dogs in our care. We are looking for hardworking, dependable, people who enjoy physical work, being outdoors, and genuinely care about dogs and animal welfare.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
