About the Role The Cannabis Field Technician is a hands-on role supporting all aspects of cultivation, primarily outdoors with seasonal transition to greenhouse work. You will be responsible for executing daily field work, maintaining plant health, and supporting the full lifecycle of the crop from planting through harvest. This is a small team environment where each person is expected to contribute consistently, take ownership of their work, and support overall farm operations. Field Work & Crop Care Perform outdoor cultivation tasks including planting, transplanting, pruning, trellising, watering, weeding, and harvesting Follow established methods and schedules Monitor plant health and field conditions; report issues Maintain clean and organized work areas Irrigation, Harvest & Seasonal Work Execute irrigation tasks and monitor performance Identify and communicate irrigation or field issues Support harvest including cutting, staging, and material movement Assist with seasonal work such as planting and field setup Support greenhouse work as needed Data, Communication & Teamwork Complete basic documentation accurately and on time Communicate observations and issues clearly Work as part of a small team to complete daily work Complete assigned tasks fully and to standard Qualifications Prior experience in outdoor farming, agriculture, landscaping, or similar field work required Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50-60 lbs., repetitive movement, and extended time on your feet Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, humidity, and cold Ability to follow direction and work independently Strong attention to detail and observational skills Reliable, consistent, and able to contribute to a small team Comfortable working around plant material, dust, pollen, and other natural elements Environmental Factors Physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions Moderate to loud noise exposure Regular use of farm tools and equipment Exposure to plant particulates, odors, and allergens
