Cannabis Grow Technician

QUALIFICATIONS

: This is a great entry level position. This is a very physically active, on your feet position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

: Working to maintain the health of plants by feeding and pruning throughout the growth cycle. Thinning, pruning and defoliating plants will be part of daily work. Cleaning plant containers, mixing soil substrate, filling containers, and cleaning fertigation tanks. Watering plants and utilizing irrigation system. Deep cleaning of rooms, tanks and equipment as a daily part of the job. Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations of the cultivation department in accordance with our mission, vision, goals, and objectives. Working collectively and respectfully with other cultivation team members. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization. Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork. Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage medium stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it. Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday. This is a very active job. You will be moving and doing all day. There is no computer or lite work available for this position. Working safely in a warehouse like setting. Self-motivated. Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations. Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone. At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US. Proper employment documentation. Ability to get a MT DOR cannabis employment agent badge. You must have a mailing address to get a badge. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Able to commute to grow facilities in the Kila/Marion area. Drive includes a snowy gravel driveway (AWD, 4x4 or studded tires recommended). The job is 5 days/week 40hr. Hours of work will be between 8am and 5pm.

DESIRABLE

Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture. Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience.

EDUCATION

Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
