Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our cannabis manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with state regulations and company SOPs. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on experience in cannabis production environments, capable of managing teams across multiple departments while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production operations across departments (post-processing, packaging, extraction, kitchen, etc.) Ensure all production goals and deadlines are met according to schedule Train, onboard, and mentor staff on processes, equipment, and compliance procedures Maintain accurate production records, logs, and tracking sheets Monitor inventory levels, material usage, and waste tracking Coordinate with management to adjust workflows based on demand and production needs Ensure compliance with all state regulations, SOPs, and safety standards Troubleshoot operational issues, problem solve and escalate when necessary Conduct routine audits of processes, inventory, and staff performance Serve as a point of contact between production staff and upper management Qualifications 5+ years of experience in cannabis manufacturing Prior supervisory or leadership experience required Strong understanding of cannabis compliance regulations and SOP adherence Experience with inventory tracking systems (e.g., BioTrack or similar) Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with extraction methods (e.g., distillation, short path, hydrocarbon) Familiarity with production planning and scheduling Background in training and staff development Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes CompensationBenefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience in cannabis manufacturing and leadership roles.
