Job Description

OVERVIEW
Upstate Elevator is a Vermont-grown, family owned, nationally-loved cannabis company offering you clean, natural ways to elevate your everyday. From CBD to THC and everything in between, our goal is to make feeling good feel better. Upstate is seeking part-time Cannabis Production Associates to support the formulation, filling, packaging, and processing of cannabis and cannabis-infused products. The role is critical to ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet the company's high standards for quality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and consistency across all production operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in batch preparation and formulation to ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Operate production equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols. Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of all production equipment. Measure, mix, and transfer materials according to precise batch records. Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations. Follow preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all machinery is in optimal working condition. Maintain accurate and detailed batch records for all production runs, ensuring proper documentation of every step in the manufacturing process. Maintain strict quality control standards and adhere to all company SOPs and state regulatory requirements to ensure all products meet regulatory guidelines and company specifications. Assist Operations in pick/pack/ship order fulfillment. Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sterility within the facility by performing daily cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of work areas and equipment, including sweeping, mopping, waste and recycling removal, and general facility upkeep.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely. Comfortable working with mechanical systems and performing basic maintenance tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass all required background checks.
