Car Container Loader

Job description

Responsibilities:

Load and unload used cars and auto parts onto and off trucks and 40HC containers. Tie the vehicle in the container safely using chains and straps. Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect vehicles and cargo for any damages before and after loading. Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management and tracking of shipped vehicles. Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role at least 2 years. Ability to operate loading equipment and tools. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Aligning the vehicle chassis with the container chassis in the yard. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
