Non-exempt SUMMARY Follow established company policies and procedures to safely and efficiently perform approved necessary maintenance on any authorized vehicle. The position supports the sales function by completing each job on time, without error or omission.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties as assigned. Safely, efficiently and effectively detail vehicles needed to increase bottom-line profit. q Complete required visual vehicle inspections to support the Service Department. q Effectively perform approved vehicle maintenance using established company and industry guidelines. q Maintain Service Department image, housekeeping and safety standards. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. q Maintain facility to include the building, equipment, parking lot, grounds and any other issue to avoiding creating a safety hazard. Participate in any vendor training program and maintain a friendly working relationship with all vendors. Adhere to personal image standards as established by J.D. Byrider policies. Establish and maintain a smooth and effective working relationship with all store personnel.QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience Any vocational school, own tools, valid driver's license, and any ASE certification or great desire to become ASE certified. Appropriate experience and knowledge can make up for formal educational requirements. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMAND
