Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a
Cardiac Sonographer License/Certifications:
ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date..
Experience:
Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.
