HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a full time, experienced physician assistant (PA-C) or nurse practitioner (APRN) to join our cardiology team in St. Petersburg, FL. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited APRN or PA school Licensed in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Board Certified American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification Basic EKG course required This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for

based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved) Responsibilities Help to improve positive outcomes for your patients as a PA or APRN for the Valve Clinic Present clinical findings at multidisciplinary team Ensure patients meet NCD guidelines for treatment and order all required testing pre and post procedure Educate patients and families regarding treatment Plan and Procedure, medication instructions pre and post procedure Administer treatments in accordance with protocols (APRN s can order medication based and do treatments on the protocols they are credentialed for ) Customer service skills to all that we serve Physicians, co-workers, patients and family
