Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Registered Nurse in Mashpee, MA

This opportunity involves supporting both Cardiovascular ICU and general ICU patients, working with a collaborative team that values clinical expertise and adaptability. Schedule/Hours:

36 hours per week Night shifts: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Every other weekend Rotating holidays

Qualifications:

Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent CVICU experience required Competency and confidence to float between CVICU and general ICU Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing conditions BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-acuity nursing care to CVICU and ICU patients Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs, manage hemodynamic drips, and respond to emergent situations Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and support staff Float between CVICU and ICU settings as needed based on patient volume and acuity Adhere to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety Educate patients and families regarding conditions and care plans
