Job Description
Ignite a career as a Cardiology RN with an innovative, patient-first community hospital where hearts heal, skills advance, and impact happens fast 💓🚀.
This forward-thinking organization equips the Cardiovascular Registered Nurse with excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, integrated EHR, and evidence-based pathways that elevate safe, timely care. Recognized for a culture of teamwork and compassionate service, the hospital advances clinical excellence through ongoing education, mentorship, and clinical ladders that foster rapid professional growth. Cutting-edge cardiac technologies, robust telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring, and multidisciplinary case reviews support superior outcomes across diverse populations. Strong community partnerships and philanthropy sustain innovation, enhance access to specialty services, and position the Cardiac Registered Nurse for long-term success.
In a 20-bed community hospital setting, the RN Cardiology delivers personalized, high-acuity care within a cohesive, right-sized environment that promotes connection and continuity. Streamlined workflows, modern cath and echo capabilities, and focused telemetry enable precise assessments, timely interventions, and thorough education. Advanced structural heart care is supported through alcohol septal ablation, atrial septal defect ASD closure, MitraClip, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure to lower stroke risk. Purposeful rounding and standardized recovery protocols empower the RN—Cardiology to champion safety, experience, and outcomes across the cardiac continuum.
Reporting to the Charge Nurse Cardiology, the Cardiology RN collaborates with friendly bedside RNs and a diverse team of therapists, pharmacists, imaging specialists, techs, and schedulers to coordinate seamless care. Core responsibilities include EKG acquisition and interpretation, arrhythmia recognition, titration and administration of cardiac medications, pre-/post-procedural care, patient education, and accurate EHR documentation aligned with quality standards. The Cardiology Nurse will function as the liaison between the staff, patients and providers.
Nestled in Montana's Big Sky country between Yellowstone and Glacier, the Cardiac Care Nurse will enjoy blue-ribbon fishing on storied rivers, scenic hiking and cycling paths, and quick access to two welcoming ski areas ⛰️. A vibrant calendar of live concerts, festivals, and gallery nights complements a culinary scene of farm-to-table fare, craft breweries, and hearty mountain cuisine. Four-season living brings sunny summers, colorful autumns, powder-rich winters, and crisp spring trails—paired with short commutes, friendly neighborhoods, and an attractive cost of living. Outdoor adventure and cultural opportunity meet a balanced, family-friendly lifestyle that supports the Cardiac Care Nurse on and off the unit.
