Career Services Representative Hunter Business School
  • Long Island, NY Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Two Evening Shifts Required Make an Impact.

Hunter Business School is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven, and highly organized Career Services Representative to help our students transition from education to meaningful employment. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on building employer partnerships, coaching students toward career success, and creating real employment outcomes. Key Responsibilities Employer Development & Job Placement Generate new employment leads and job opportunities for all academic programs Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and regional employers Conduct outreach to businesses to establish hiring partnerships and internship opportunities Coordinate employer visits, recruiting events, and on-campus interviews Schedule, track, and follow up on all student interviews Student Career Coaching Provide individualized career counseling to current students and graduates Conduct classroom presentations on career readiness, interviewing, resume writing, and job search strategies Prepare students for successful employment by providing current labor market trends, salary insights, and employment opportunities Guide students through all phases of the job search process Placement Reporting & Compliance Document, track, and maintain student placement activity and employment outcomes Maintain accurate records of all student interactions, employer contacts, and placement efforts Assist in achieving and documenting placement benchmarks and reporting requirements Communication & Program Support Create professional correspondence, memos, career materials, and employer communications Maintain and update weekly job market postings, career resources, and online job boards Assist with special events, including graduate recognition and commencement activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience) Experience in career services, recruiting, staffing, admissions, sales, business development, or workforce development preferred Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational and follow-through abilities Comfortable with outreach, networking, and meeting performance goals Proficiency with Google platforms, CRM/databases, and online job platforms What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Highly motivated and results-driven Comfortable speaking with students, employers, and community partners Professional, polished, and resourceful Passionate about helping others succeed Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Schedule Monday-Friday Two evening shifts required (until 8pm) Join Our Mission At Hunter Business School, careers change lives.
