Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within a facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and be skilled in developing and implementing care plans. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive care and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing if needed. Provide meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Monitor patient conditions and observe for any changes that may require attention. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure safety and comfort. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, promoting health and well-being. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional and mental health. Document care provided and report any significant observations to healthcare professionals or family members. Qualifications Previous experience in home community care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and the ability to monitor changes in health status. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being flexible to adapt as needed. Physical capability to assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
