Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. This vital role involves providing attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you will be a trusted partner in their care journey. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, creating a safe and calming environment Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during heavy lifting or mobility assistance Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning duties and ensure infection control protocols are followed Document all care activities meticulously in accordance with healthcare standards and care plans Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs Participate in ongoing training on CPR, first aid, hospice care, working with people with developmental disabilities or autism, and other relevant certifications to enhance your caregiving skills Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs accurately Familiarity with medication administration procedures and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and meal preparation efficiently Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities such as autism or Alzheimer's disease Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident transfers Knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices to create a supportive environment for residents experiencing cognitive decline Experience working within care plans tailored for hospice or palliative needs is a plus Ability to handle emergency situations calmly through CPR certification or first aid training Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for those you serve.
