Caregiver 9a-9p or 9p-9a Swarthmore, PA

Looking for caregivers to provide care for a client for 12 hour shifts. Shifts will start at the end of August. MALE Client is a wheelchair bound student in need of assistance: Daily 9am-9pm and 9pm-9am He will be living in a Dorm and is in need of personal assistance in showering, dressing, morning routine, doing laundry and any other tasks as needed. A hoyer lift is used for moving from bed to chair. Caregiver will need to have or obtain fingerprints and obtain a clearance for PA Child Abuse records.

Job Duties:

Assist client with daily living activities, including transfers, helping with bathing, grooming. Client and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences. May include light housekeeping, running errands, and laundry. We're looking for the best - here's what we'd like to see: Past experience as a caregiver, either professionally or with family members. A passion for the job and helping others. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance. Ability to pass a background check. Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
