Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals that are residing in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Experience in senior care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful caregiving. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Medication reminders, following care plans and HIPAA regulations Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including memory care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Support residents with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met Observe and report on residents' health status and behavior to healthcare teams or family members Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties as necessary Follow prescribed care plans diligently while respecting residents' dignity and preferences Document all care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous Ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working within care plans and understanding of patient monitoring protocols Valid background check and adherence to safety standards required for working in healthcare environments This role offers an enriching career path for those passionate about providing compassionate senior and disability care.
