Automotive Service Advisor

In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless, positive experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help customers understand their vehicle's needs, recommend appropriate services, and build lasting relationships. Duties Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and confidence in our service team Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, emphasizing value and quality Prepare detailed auto estimates for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspensions, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body work Coordinate with technicians to prioritize service work and ensure timely completion of repairs Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain detailed records of all service orders, customer interactions, and repair histories Promote automotive diagnostics expertise to identify underlying issues quickly and accurately Assist in vehicle maintenance scheduling and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of auto service management practices Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, suspensions, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and auto body repair Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing with attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services and automobile sales Mechanical knowledge that supports effective communication with technicians and customers alike Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining integrity Familiarity with dealership operations including auto service management systems and inventory control Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care!
