Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to individual at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with feeding and medication administration as necessary.
• Perform Range of Motion exercises to maintain and promote flexibility.
• Provide assistance in repositioning for healthy skin integrity.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for client.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with client.
• Monitor and manage behavior of individual with a cognitive impairment.
• Support client in remaining at home and promoting their well-being.
• Ensure the privacy and dignity of client.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in patient care or related fields is preferred , but not required. Will train duties listed above if necessary.
• Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individual with varying needs.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle with patience and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with client, their family and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Must be comfortable working in a a home environment and respecting privacy boundaries.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Background check will be performed.
