Personal Assistant / Caregiver /

Direct Care Worker Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to individual at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and manage behavior of individual with a cognitive impairment.
• Support client in remaining at home and promoting their well-being.
• Assist with feeding and medication administration as necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with client.
• Ensure the privacy and dignity of client.
• Perform Range of Motion exercises to promote flexibility.
• Provide assistance in repositioning for healthy skin integrity.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in patient care, or related fields is preferred, but not required
• Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals with varying needs.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
