Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a little assistance, support, and a friendly smile. Our caregivers make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver's home. We empower our care receivers to continue to live independent lives by providing companionship, taking care of day-to-day tasks, and assisting with activities of daily living. We have flexible, part-time work for mature and compassionate caregivers to assist seniors in and around Park City, Deer Valley, Wanship, and Kamas UT. One important aspect of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we carefully pair caregivers with care receivers to encourage a deep, meaningful, and mutually beneficial connection. Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, meals, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. We also offer support and assistance with activities of daily living and offer specialized care, respite care, and assistance for individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Companionship and homemaker responsibilities may include: Provide Companionship Assist with Light Housekeeping (e.g., laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.) Shopping and Errands Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Pet Care Incidental Transportation (e.g., doctor's appointments, family, restaurant, etc.) Personal care responsibilities may include: Assist with Dressing Assist with Feeding Assist with Showering / Bathing Mobility Assistance Assist with Toileting / Incontinence Memory Care Other Responsibilities Arrive on-time for all services Maintain documentation of all services provided Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior or appearance Communicate regularly and proactively with our office team, including adequate notice if you need a schedule change or cannot make a scheduled appointment Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meetings Required Qualifications Valid Utah driver's license, reliable and insured transportation Ability to perform light physical activity including frequent standing, walking, bending, stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds Pass background checks including fingerprinting, drug tests, and tuberculosis (TB) screen Preferred Qualifications Experience in caregiving (professional or for family/friends) Compassionate, upbeat, and intuitive with an empathetic and patient-centered approach Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and dedication to our mission Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed Proficient with smartphone This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 30.0 per week

Do you have experience working in an assisted living or other care facility? Do you have experience as a caregiver for family or friends? Would you be willing and able to commute to communities in Wasatch County (e.g., Jordanelle area, Midway, Heber City)? Are you located in the Park City area or can you reliably commute to the Park City area? Would you be willing and able to commute to other communities in Summit County (e.g., Kamas, Francis, Wanship, Coalville)? Do you have experience caring for individuals with dementia?

post-high school work or homemaking: 10 years (Required)
