Caregiver Indian Preferred (Hindi/Punjabi)

Job Overview Indian Preferred Hindi/Punjabi We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Caregiver to provide personalized, non-medical support to our elderly grandmother in the comfort of her own home. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and offer companionship that promotes dignity, independence, and a high quality of life. This is a caring position focused on helping an active senior continue living happily and comfortably at home. Responsibilities Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping Provide companionship through conversation, walks, games, reading, or other engaging activities Support mobility around the home and assist with transfers as needed Remind grandmother about medications (no administering) and appointments Run errands and provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping, or social outings Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment Communicate regularly with family members about daily routines, well-being, and any concerns Qualifications Previous experience as a caregiver for seniors or elderly individuals (preferred) Reliable, punctual, and genuinely caring personality Patience, empathy, and respect for the dignity and independence of seniors Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust Physically able to assist with light lifting and mobility support Valid driver's license and clean driving record (highly preferred) Comfortable working independently in a private home setting First Aid/CPR certification is a plus (but not required) Must pass a background check This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a lovely elderly lady by providing consistent, compassionate care in a warm home environment.
