Caregiver/Home Help

True Gentle Home Care provides compassionate, dependable, and respectful non-medical home care services to individuals who need support with daily living. Our goal is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while treating every person with dignity, patience, and kindness. Job Summary True Gentle Home Care is looking for caring, reliable, and patient caregivers to assist clients with everyday needs in their homes. The caregiver will provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other daily support services based on each client's care plan. The ideal candidate is compassionate, trustworthy, professional, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities Caregivers may be responsible for: Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Helping with mobility, transfers, and walking support Providing companionship and emotional support Preparing meals and helping with feeding when needed Performing light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas Reminding clients to take medications Assisting with toileting and incontinence care Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments, if assigned Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition Following the client's care plan and company policies Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful home environment Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred but not always required Must be dependable, compassionate, and patient Ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation preferred Good communication skills Ability to follow instructions and care plans Must be respectful of client privacy and confidentiality CPR/First Aid certification is a plus CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not required unless specified Physical Requirements This position may require the ability to: Stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed Assist clients with transfers and mobility Perform household tasks Work in a home environment with varying client needs Schedule Flexible schedules may be available, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and live-in shifts depending on client needs.
