• Temporary, PRN Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Caregivers to join our team.

In this role, you will provide essential support to residents with memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and support, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. Schedule On Call

• 6am Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Monitor and document vital signs and changes in resident conditions. Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines. Administer medications as directed while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence while providing necessary assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning common areas and resident rooms. Assist with patient observation, monitoring behavior, and reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe transfers when necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. Requirements Previous experience in memory care, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in patient monitoring is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting residents as needed. Familiarity with home health practices, hospice care, or social work is beneficial. Must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times.
