Caregiving/Home Health Aid

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiving/Home Health Aids to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care to individuals of all ages. In this vital role, you will support clients with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional well-being, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance and professionalism of caregiving services. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or walkers Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting changes promptly Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care, hospice, or developmental disabilities Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient records or communicating with healthcare professionals Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of medical procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and hospice support Certifications in CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications such as medication administration or dementia care are advantageous Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent patient observation skills Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices Compassionate attitude with strong communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often necessary for home visits Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
