Since 1999 we have established a tradition of excellence in the Columbus residential market. We specialize in highly custom new builds, additions, and large scale remodels. We are looking to add a Carpenter to our team. While prior experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with minimal to no experience. As a carpenter on the KCB team you will be learning from and working alongside a veteran team of skilled carpenters. Many of the team members you will be working with have over 25 years of experience in construction. An applicant who can learn quickly and absorb information can thrive in this position. An Ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is reliable, on-time, and demonstrates true interest in the work.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting projects to completion
• Facilitating daily tasks
• Performing construction tasks such as interior trim, tile work, framing, woodworking, and more.
• Communicate with Clients, Sub Contractors, and other personnel
• Problem solving construction situations
• Assisting with jobsite supervision

Applicant Requirements:

• On time, reliable, and honest
• The applicant must be professional
• Willing to learn and develop
• Experience in framing, tile, woodworking, ect. (preferred)
• Skilled and attentive to detail
• Good communication skills
• Able to lift and move heavy objects
• Organized, prepared, and motivated
• Own a reliable vehicle
• Own basic construction hand tools
• Job Sites are non-smoking workplaces Applicants must have a valid drivers license.

All applicants are subject to a background check. This is a full time job, Monday through Friday(8am-5pm). We offer competitive wages based on experience and skillset.
