Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry and construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and materials, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics to execute projects effectively. The Carpenter/Laborer will contribute to a variety of construction and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks, including installation of doors, cabinets, and fixtures. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and siding installation as required. Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials on construction sites while adhering to safety guidelines. Participate in restoration projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general remodeling tasks. Collaborate with team members on various construction activities such as flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and roofing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Skills Proficient in construction estimating and project planning. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, metal stud framing, and fixture installation. Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with construction work. Familiarity with CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
