Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer, where your skills will directly contribute to high-quality building projects and restoration efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from framing and trim carpentry to finishing and restoration work. We value energetic, detail-oriented professionals eager to develop their craft and make a tangible impact through every project. All positions are paid, ensuring your effort is recognized and rewarded from day one. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools, including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and siding. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications for projects such as rebar installation, concrete forming, roofing, and masonry. Prepare construction sites by performing heavy lifting, demolition, and site cleanup to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and other finishing tasks to achieve polished results. Support restoration projects by performing water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration tasks. Fabricate custom components using woodworking skills or CNC machinery when required for specialized fixtures or structural elements. Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools and materials while adhering to site protocols; assist with heavy lifting and scaffolding setup as needed. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of various construction trades including framing (metal stud or wood), roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and drywall installation. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely. Experience with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage repair is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques like caulking, siding installation, CNC fabrication or tile laying.
