Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and materials, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety on the job site. Duties Perform framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation according to project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and masonry as needed. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks when required. Assist in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation. Participate in heavy lifting and physical labor associated with construction activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction painting, remodeling, or maintenance person services. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials. Ability to operate CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is advantageous. Experience in plumbing or electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
