Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks to support residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your craftsmanship, work with a dedicated team, and contribute to high-quality building and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills while maintaining a strong safety mindset. Duties Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying as needed. Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and stucco application. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, and hardware; handle siding and metal stud framing tasks. Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely for tasks like fabrication, assembly, or roofing projects. Conduct demolition, clean-up work, and site prep to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or restoration industry preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic machinery used in carpentry and construction. Knowledge of various building techniques including framing (wooden or metal), drywall finishing, caulking, flooring installation, and door hanging. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Valid driver's license preferred; additional certifications in electrical work or plumbing are beneficial but not required. $26.03 - $44.87 per hour
